Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to purchase products through our Website. By placing an order, you represent that you meet this requirement or are purchasing with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Handmade Products

Each item is individually handcrafted.

Because every piece is made by hand, slight variations in color, shape, texture, pattern, dimensions, bubbles, and overall appearance are natural characteristics of fused glass and should not be considered defects. Product photographs are intended to represent the general appearance of each item but may not exactly match the piece you receive.

Orders and Acceptance

All orders are subject to acceptance by Ray of Light Fused Glass.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order for reasons including, but not limited to:

Product availability
Pricing or typographical errors
Suspected fraud
Payment issues
Inability to fulfill the order
Any other circumstance we determine appropriate

If payment has already been processed for a canceled order, a full refund will be issued.

Custom Orders

Custom artwork requires customer approval before production begins.

Once work has begun, custom orders cannot be canceled.

Custom orders are non-refundable.

If a custom piece arrives damaged due to shipping, we will replace the item whenever reasonably possible and cover the shipping costs for the replacement.

Please allow up to 10 weeks for delivery of custom orders.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD).

Prices are subject to change without notice; however, price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

We currently accept secure payments through:

Square
Etsy

Applicable sales tax will be calculated during checkout based upon the shipping destination and applicable law.

Local Pickup

Local pickup is available by appointment.

Customers selecting local pickup will be contacted to arrange a mutually convenient pickup time and location.

Shipping

We currently ship within the United States.

Orders are generally shipped through the United States Postal Service (USPS), although other shipping carriers may be used when appropriate.

Shipping methods and estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

We carefully package every order.

If your shipment arrives damaged, or if your package appears to have been lost in transit, please contact us within seven (7) days of delivery or the expected delivery date.

Photos of damaged packaging and products may be requested to assist with insurance claims.

Depending on the circumstances, we may replace the item and cover the shipping costs for the replacement. Because shipments may be insured, claims will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, all sales are final.

We do not offer refunds for purchased items.

Exchanges are considered only in limited circumstances, such as when you receive the incorrect item or incorrect color.

Exchange requests must be submitted within seven (7) days of delivery.

Approval of exchanges is at the sole discretion of Ray of Light Fused Glass.

Food-Safe Disclaimer

Certain fused glass products, including trinket dishes/sauce dishes, are designed to be food safe.

Unless specifically stated otherwise:

Food-safe pieces are intended for normal serving use only.
They are not microwave safe.
They are not dishwasher safe.
Customers should hand wash only using mild soap and warm water.
Customers should avoid sudden temperature changes (thermal shock), which may cause glass to crack or break.

Decorative glass artwork should not be used for serving food unless specifically identified as food safe.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

Provide accurate billing and shipping information.
Inspect orders promptly upon delivery.
Notify us of shipping damage within seven (7) days.
Follow all product care instructions.
Handle glass products carefully.
Avoid hanging glass artwork using suction cups unless specifically recommended.
Exercise appropriate care when handling breakable glass products.

Glass Safety Disclaimer

Glass is inherently breakable.

While our products are carefully handcrafted and inspected before shipment, glass may break if dropped, struck, mishandled, improperly installed, or subjected to excessive force or sudden temperature changes.

Ray of Light Fused Glass is not responsible for injuries, property damage, or losses resulting from:

Improper use
Misuse
Accidental breakage
Improper installation
Failure to follow product care instructions
Normal wear or accidental damage after delivery

Customers assume responsibility for the safe handling, installation, display, and use of all glass products after delivery.
